'MunchHollow started with one goal in mind: to share true Neapolitan pizza with London. The Bianchi relatives set up our pizzeria in 1985, beginning as a modest locally operated eatery with recipes passed down for generations.
Marco Bianchi, our originator, acquired the craft of pizza creation while exploring Italy, learning from renowned pizza chefs in Naples, where pizza was conceived. After coming back to the UK, she sought to reproduce the essence of Italian pizza, using age-old techniques and selecting the best ingredients.
From its early days as a humble 12-seat spot, our pizzeria has blossomed into a cherished community staple, yet our adherence to quality and genuineness remains steadfast. We still employ traditional wood-burning ovens, prepare our dough every day, and opt for the most exceptional ingredients available.
Nowadays, 'MunchHollow is still in the family, with the descendants of the Bianchi kin guiding our devoted team. Though we've adopted some modern improvements, the core of what we do is unaltered: creating sumptuous, genuine pizza that unites folks.
